Learn mindfulness meditation practices and explore how mindfulness can help you in working with stress and other difficulties. The techniques we’ll be exploring are a key to a different way of living.

This day is an excellent way to get a taste of them and a good introduction to the full Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course. It’s suitable for beginners and also people who already meditate and would like to understand better how meditation can help address stress and respond better to challenges and difficulties.

Please bring loose clothing and contribution to the shared vegetarian lunch.

Vishvapani Blomfield, the trainer, has taught mindfulness and meditation for 19 years and leads many mindfulness courses and events. He’s also known for his broadcasts from a Buddhist perspective on BBC Radio 4’s Thought for the Day. His biography of the Buddha: ‘Gautama Buddha: the Life and Teachings of the Awakened One’ was published this year.
